Cancellation & Payment Policy

At the Society of Black Colon and Rectal Surgeons (SBCRS), we value your commitment to our events, programs, and membership. To ensure fairness and transparency, the following cancellation and payment policy applies to all transactions made through our website.

1. Event Registrations

  • Cancellations by Attendees:

    • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled event or arrival to avoid any charges.

    • Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the event will receive a full refund, minus any applicable processing fees.

    • Cancellations made 15–29 days prior to the event will be eligible for a 50% refund.

    • Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event are non-refundable.

  • No-Show Policy:

    • Registrants who fail to attend without prior notice will not receive a refund.

  • Event Cancellations by SBCRS:

    • If SBCRS cancels an event, all registrants will receive a full refund.

    • If an event is rescheduled, registrations will automatically be transferred to the new date.

2. Membership Payments

  • All membership fees are non-refundable once processed.

  • Membership benefits begin immediately upon successful payment.

  • Renewal payments must be made on or before the due date to avoid interruption of benefits.

3. Other Payments

  • Payments for workshops, training, or special programs are subject to the same event cancellation terms outlined above.

  • Any materials or digital content purchased are non-refundable once delivered.

4. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of cancellation confirmation.

  • Refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment.

5. Payment Responsibility

  • All registrants and members are responsible for ensuring their payment details are accurate and up to date.

  • SBCRS is not responsible for failed transactions due to incorrect information or insufficient funds.

6. Policy Updates

SBCRS reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately unless otherwise stated.
